My first reaction to the film News Wars was uneasy. I have heard many reporters, especially from the New York Times complain about the confidentiality of their sources and how the government is not allowing them to keep that trust. However; this makes me feel slightly uneasy about the news and the government.
I would like to know first of all, why these sources are so adamant about keeping their identity a secret. If what there saying is the truth than what is there to hide. Secondly I would like to know why these sources are hiding their identity and if it has something to do with the corruption of the government.
In any case I do believe that citizens should obey the law and if the law wants to know your source well...
